Soniya Assudani Patel

Soniya Assudani Patel, PhD, currently serves as the Associate Director of Global Scientific Communications at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since August 2023. Previously, Soniya held positions as Associate Medical Director and Senior Medical Writer at ApotheCom from December 2020 to August 2023, and progressed through roles of Medical Writer I and II at Nucleus Global from September 2019 to December 2020. Academic experience includes a Graduate Student Researcher role at the University of Connecticut, where Soniya conducted research and taught psychology courses, obtaining a PhD in Neuroscience in 2019. Additional educational credentials include an M.S. in Experimental Psychology from Seton Hall University and a B.A. in Psychology from The College of New Jersey.
