Roberto Blanco

Roberto Blanco has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Roberto started their career in 2003 at Alfa Corporativo, where they held various roles such as Energy Planning Analyst, Energy Manager, and Energy Planning Head Analyst. In 2014, they became the Energy Planning Director, and in 2016, they were promoted to Vice President Gas. In 2019, they assumed the role of President Gas & Power.

In 2018, Roberto joined NEG as the CEO.

Additionally, since 2015, Roberto has been an Associate Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, specializing in Energy Audit, Diagnosis, and Evaluation. Roberto has received recognition for their teaching and has been involved in sustainable development projects.

Roberto Blanco has a strong education background with a focus on sustainability, management, and energy engineering. Roberto obtained a Master of Science degree in Sustainability from the University of Oxford in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Management from Stanford University in 2015 and another Master of Science degree in Energy Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2014. Roberto'seducational journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they completed in 2001. In addition to their formal education, Roberto has also obtained various certifications, including LEED Green Associate, Sistema de Comercio de Emisiones, and Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista, among others.
