Jakob Nilsson

Vice President Operations, Head Of Business Control at Alfa Laval

Jakob Nilsson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Jakob began their career as an Accounting Clerk at Perstorp AB in June 2010 and later worked as a Consultant at the same company from August 2011 to August 2012. In September 2006, Nilsson worked as a Substitute Teacher at Hässleholms kommun. Moving on, they joined Alfa Laval in October 2012 as a Controller until December 2015. From January 2016 to December 2017, Nilsson worked as a Factory Controller at Alfa Laval, responsible for analyzing and improving operational and financial performance in the factories. Their role also involved product costing, budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory management. In May 2017, Nilsson took on the role of Business Controller for Product Group High Speed Separators & Decanters at Alfa Laval, responsible for the financial reporting and performance of the Product Group globally. Recently, they have been working as Vice President Operations and Head of Business Control at Alfa Laval since March 2020.

Jakob Nilsson completed their education at Lund University, where they received a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management Accounting from 2008 to 2012. During their time at Lund University, they also studied psychology for a brief period in 2008. In 2010, they had a short-term experience at the National University of Singapore, studying business administration.
