Mattias Andersson

Mattias Andersson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mattias has held various leadership positions in different companies. Currently, they are the VP Operation Marine Division at Alfa Laval, a role they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they were the President of the Product Group Heat and Gas Systems at the same company. Before joining Alfa Laval, they served as the Managing Director of Alfa Laval China's Qingdao, Kunshan, and JiangYin divisions. Previously, Mattias held the position of Director of Operations at Alfa Laval from 2017 to 2021.

Earlier in their career, Mattias worked at Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology as the Managing Director of China Operations and the Managing Director of ZongRui JV. Mattias also served as the VP of Indirect Purchasing at Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology.

Prior to their roles at Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, Mattias was employed at Sandvik AB as the Director of Indirect Purchasing for APAC and as a Regional Sourcing Manager.

Before joining Sandvik AB, Mattias served as the General Manager at Sandvik Mining and Construction. Mattias also held the position of President and Principal at Sandvik Utbildnings AB/Goranssonska Skolan while working at Sandvik Pty Ltd.

Mattias began their career as a Production Manager at Sandvik Saws and Tools and later worked as the Headmaster of KOMVUX at Enkopings Kommun.

Mattias Andersson earned a Master's degree from Uppsala University in 1994.
