Nayef Trad

Nayef Trad's work experience includes holding the role of VP - Head of Information Security at the Alfardan Group since 2012, where they established and oversaw the Information Security Department. Prior to that, they served as Sr. Information Security Officer/Acting IT Security Manager at Arab Bank PLC from 2008 to 2012, where they headed the Information Security Department for the bank's area hub and was responsible for creating the yearly budget and implementing risk mitigations. From 2006 to 2008, they were the Head of IT Security Solutions at OISSG - ISSAF, where they delivered IT security solutions and developed and maintained security policies according to international standards. Nayef also worked as a Service Developer at Orange in 2005 and as a Sr. IT Security Specialist at DeltaNet from 1999 to 2005, where they delivered IT security solutions to large enterprises and monitored and recommended security enhancements.

Nayef Trad holds an M.Sc. degree in Applied Computer Sciences from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, which they obtained from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Maitrise degree in Information Systems from Ecole Polytechnique Superieure d'Informatique - Liban, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Apart from their academic qualifications, Nayef holds various certifications in fields such as Risk Management, Information Security, and Digital Forensics. These certifications include RMP: Risk Management Professional, CISM: Certified Information Security Manager, CRISC: Certified in Risk & Information Systems Control, COBIT Foundation 4.1, BS 25999: Business Continuity Management System; Implementer, ISO 27001: Information Security Management System; Lead Implementer, CDFE: Certified Digital Forensics Expert, CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker, and ISO 9001:2000 Internal Auditor.
