Erik Elmtoft

Erik Elmtoft, PE, PMP, MS, serves as a Principal and Department Head of Mechanical Engineering at AlfaTech since January 2015, where responsibilities include project management, engineering design, quality assurance, and business operations. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Principal, Lead Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager, and Design Engineer at AlfaTech, as well as an Engineering Intern at Integral Group, Inc., where work involved electrical energy benchmarking tools. Erik's academic background includes a Master of Science in Energy Systems Engineering from San Francisco State University and dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University, complemented by research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and a position as a Teaching Assistant at Linköping University.
