Daniel Briggs

Daniel Briggs, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the field of civil engineering and structural design. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Benesch since July 2024, Daniel previously held key positions at Florida East Coast Railway, including Assistant Chief Engineer - Structures and Bridge Engineer from April 2019 to July 2024. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Norfolk Southern Corporation spanned from July 2002 to April 2019, where roles included B&B Supervisor II, Engineer Structures, Assistant Engineer Structures, and Train Dispatcher. Daniel's hands-on experience also includes a part-time position with BriggsDirtworks LLC from 2004 to June 2013, focusing on heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Daniel earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University between 2010 and 2013, following early experience as a CYO Clerk at Norfolk Southern Corporation from August 2000 to 2002.
