David Ruschena

David Ruschena is an experienced legal and strategic advisor, currently serving as the General Counsel at Alfred Health since August 2015, where responsibilities include leading policy development and providing guidance on complex organizational issues. Ruschena has held various significant roles, including Acting Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Alfred Health, overseeing multiple medical programs, and as A/Deputy Secretary for COVID-19 Public Health Policy & Strategy at the Victorian Department of Health. Previous positions include Senior Consultant at The Nous Group and Health Legal, as well as teaching roles at RMIT University. Ruschena's legal expertise is bolstered by a Doctorate in Law from the University of Melbourne and qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety.
