Eric Chow

Head Of Health Data Management And Biostatistics Unit at Alfred Health

Eric Chow has a diverse work experience spanning multiple institutions. Eric is currently a Professor at Monash University, where they have held various roles including Associate Professor, Adjunct Senior Research Fellow, Teaching Associate, Adjunct Lecturer, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Additionally, they have worked at Alfred Health as the Head of Health Data Management and Biostatistics Unit, and as an NHMRC Research Fellow. Eric is also an Honorary Principal Fellow at the University of Melbourne. Prior to these positions, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Tsinghua University and as a Research Assistant at UNSW Australia.

Eric Chow's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science - Forensic Biology from the University of Technology Sydney, which they completed from 2005 to 2007. In 2009, they pursued a Master of Applied Science in Bioinformatics at the University of Sydney. From 2010 to 2014, Eric completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicine at UNSW. In 2012, they also briefly studied for a Master of Public Health (MPH) at UNSW. Eric later obtained a Master of Biostatistics from the University of Melbourne, which they completed from 2014 to 2017. Currently, Eric is pursuing a Master of Science in Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) at the University of Sydney, with expected completion in 2022.
