Javier Jimenez Martin

Javier Jimenez Martin is a Clinical Project Manager with extensive experience in research and academia, currently working at Cochlear since March 2024. Prior to this role, Javier managed clinical projects at Monash University from January 2022 to March 2024 and served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Queensland between March 2020 and January 2022. Javier's academic career began at the University of Otago, where a Doctorate in Biomedical Sciences (Neuroscience) was obtained from 2016 to 2020, coupled with teaching experience in Anatomy and Histology. Earlier professional experience includes roles as a Biomedical Scientist at the Cuban Neuroscience Center and a Student Research Intern at the International Hospital for Neurological Restoration. Javier holds a Bachelor of Science with 1st class Honours in Biology from the University of Havana, earned between 2009 and 2014.
