Melissa Yong

Melissa Yong has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in digital health transformation and test management roles. Melissa is currently employed at Alfred Health as the Digital Health Transformation Delivery Lead, where they support the organization in implementing their Digital Health Strategy. Their responsibilities include defining and mobilizing project scopes, liaising with stakeholders, managing communications and training plans, and reporting on project progress. Prior to their current role, Melissa worked as a Test Manager for Information Development Division, where they managed test management projects and chaired committees governing change management and release management. Before joining Alfred Health, they held various roles at Peninsula Health, including Release Management and Test Lead, Pharmacist, and Test Manager. In these positions, they managed clinical system releases, conducted testing and defect management for new product implementations, and oversaw system integration with third-party systems.

Melissa Yong attended Monash University from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Agile Change Manager from the Agile Change Leadership Institute in September 2023, Scrum Master Certificate of Proficiency from iSQI Group in February 2018, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from PeopleCert in January 2017, Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2020, and Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2021.
