Brian Slawson is an accomplished musician with extensive experience in various roles within the music industry. Since October 1993, Brian has served as the Principal Timpanist for the Brevard Symphony Orchestra. In addition to orchestral performance, Brian has been an author and arranger for Alfred Music Publishing since January 2011, contributing notable works such as "Dynamic Solos for Snare Drum" and "Classic Mallet Trios." As a featured performer in the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts' Meet the Artist Series and a recording artist under Slawsongs, Brian has created and released multiple recordings, including "Bach On Wood Variations." Previously, Brian was a voice-over artist for Warner Bros. Publications and a recording artist with Sony Music Entertainment. Brian's formal education was completed at The Juilliard School from 1976 to 1979.
