Paolo Gamberoni is a PhD Candidate at the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research since March 2023, having previously worked as an Aquaculture Technician at AquaBioTech Group from February 2021 to April 2023. In this role, Paolo conducted aquatic nutrition trials and health-related experiments on various freshwater and marine species, maintained recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), and monitored water quality. Earlier experience includes volunteering at IPMA Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera, where responsibilities involved fish feeding and collaborating in a fish pathology lab, and a summer internship at Explora Madeira Diving Center. Paolo's background also includes roles at McDonald's, IVALIS Group, and Bep's. Educational qualifications consist of a Master's degree in Marine Biology from Universidade do Algarve and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
