Kelsey Abernathy

Kelsey Abernathy began their career in 2018 as Co-Founder & CEO of AlgenAir. In 2021, they joined Techstars as Techstars KC. In 2022, they became a Strategic Advisor at L2C Partners and a Board Member at Upcycled Inc.

Kelsey Abernathy received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2021. Kelsey earned their Bachelor's degree in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 2015.
