Ramu Radhakrishnapillai

Ramu Radhakrishnapillai is a seasoned professional in the steel and chemical engineering sectors with extensive experience in direct reduced iron (DRI) operations and production supervision. Currently serving as the DR Production Supervisor at Algerian Qatari Steel since July 2023, Ramu previously held the position of Deputy Manager in DRI Operations at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. from May 2022 to July 2023. Ramu's career includes roles as Operations Engineer and Operation Lead in the Titanium Sponge and Oxygen Plants at The Kerala Minerals & Metals Limited, and as Panel Leader at Qatar Steel Company, where leadership in DCS operations for a mega module was a key responsibility. Ramu began the career as an Operation Technician at Fertilizers & Chemicals Travancore Limited. Ramu holds a Diploma of Education in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kerala.
