John Bilsten

John Bilsten is the current General Manager at Algona Municipal Utilities. John has been in this role since October 1999. Prior to that, they were the Regulatory Compliance/Energy Efficiency Specialist at Atlantic Municipal Utilities from May 1992 to October 1999. Before that, they were a Sales and Service Representative at Auto Chlor Systems from September 1989 to February 1990. John also worked as a Staff Assistant at the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities from May 1990 to May 1992.

John Bilsten received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Northern Iowa.
