Anika Sisto

Anika Sisto is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Director of Strategy and Planning at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology since October 2025. Prior to this role, Anika worked at NAV CANADA, holding positions as Manager of Corporate Planning and Manager of Strategic Portfolio Modeling and Analysis from June 2023 to October 2025. Anika also contributed to the Department of National Defence from June 2020 to June 2023 as an Economic and Socio-Economic Research and Analysis expert for the Royal Canadian Air Force, as well as a Strategic Analyst and Advisor. Previous experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa, where Anika collaborated on multiple SSHRC-funded research projects and served as a part-time professor in Business Communications. Anika was Marketing Director at Teldio from December 2010 to August 2013, developing and evaluating marketing strategies. Educational background includes a PhD in Business Administration from Concordia University, along with a Master of Science and two Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Ottawa.
