Jason Abt

Jason Abt is a Professor at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology and an Intellectual Property Mentor at Intellectual Property Ontario since September and August 2023, respectively. With extensive experience at TechInsights since 2009, Jason Abt has held multiple leadership roles including Chief Technology Officer, Vice President Operations, and Director of Technical Intelligence, focusing on technology development, operational leadership in technical analysis, and team management in the semiconductor and electronics industry. As a board member and leadership mentor at Mindtrust Leadership, Jason Abt volunteers with undergraduate students from various universities. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at Semiconductor Insights, where responsibilities included developing lab processes and imaging systems for semiconductor analysis. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen's University.
