Patrick Devey

AVP, Global, Online, and Corporate Learning at Algonquin College

Patrick Devey has been working in the field of online and corporate learning for over 20 years. Patrick started their career as an adjunct faculty member at Concordia University, where they taught online courses in statistics and education. Patrick then moved on to become the Chief Learning Officer at KnowledgeOne / eConcordia, where they managed a team of instructional designers, multimedia specialists, and other learning professionals. In their current position as AVP of Global, Online, and Corporate Learning at Algonquin College, Patrick oversees the design, delivery, and operation of online courses for the college.

Patrick Devey holds a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Concordia University, an M.A. in Educational Technology from Concordia University, and a GrDip in Sports Administration from Concordia University. Patrick also holds a BSc in Exercise Science from Concordia University.

They are on a team with Mark Savenkoff - Vice President, Advancement, Duane McNair - Vice President, Finance and Administration, and Kristine Dawson - AVP, Experiential Learning & Innovation. Patrick Devey reports to Claude Brulé, President & CEO. and Ernest Mulvey - Director, International Education Centre reports to Patrick Devey.
