Abdul Basit Chaudhary

Abdul Basit Chaudhary, PMP, MBA has a diverse work experience starting from being a Teaching Assistant at York University in 2009 to becoming a Senior Risk and Internal Control Analyst at Siemens in 2011. Abdul Basit later worked as a Senior Consultant at Turner & Townsend where they developed and implemented risk management frameworks. In 2017, they joined Optimus SBR as an Associate before moving to RBC as a Senior Manager, Enterprise Compliance in 2019. Currently, they serve as the Director of Compliance Management at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp.

Abdul Basit Chaudhary graduated with a Bachelor of Administrative Studies in Finance from York University in 2009. Later, in 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Business Administration in Strategy & Accounting from the Schulich School of Business at York University. In 2007 and 2008, they obtained a Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute. Additionally, in 2018, Abdul Basit Chaudhary earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
