John Rilett

John Rilett has a diverse work experience in the energy and environmental sector, holding high-level positions in various organizations. John has served as Vice President of Business Model & Technology Pathways at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. and Vice President of Innovation & Cleantech at The Delphi Group. Prior to these roles, they held executive positions at JCOR Energy Consulting Inc., ENMAX, Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA), and Climate Change Central, showcasing their expertise in energy solutions, distributed generation, and environmental conservation. John is also a Board Member of Decentralized Energy Canada.

John Rilett completed their Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES) with a specialization in Geography - Urban and Economic and Community Development at the University of Waterloo from 1997 to 2000. John then went on to earn their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Geography from the same institution from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they completed a Leading Innovative Change executive education program with UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and ExecOnline, Inc.
