Katherine Park

Katherine Park, RPP, MCIP, is a seasoned professional in project development and management with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Manager, Project Developer for Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. since August 2022, Katherine previously held various roles at Samsung Renewable Energy Inc. from January 2011 to August 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing multidisciplinary teams, securing substantial funding for projects, and managing regulatory approval processes for major solar energy initiatives. Katherine's earlier experiences span roles at Green Biotech Recycling, Metrolinx, the Ottawa International Airport Authority, and the Seoul Development Institute, demonstrating a robust background in urban planning and environmental policy. Katherine holds a Master of Planning from Queen's University, a Certificate in Renewable Energy from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Engineering from Yonsei University.
