Sarah Knowlton

Sarah Knowlton has over 25 years of extensive experience in the legal field, with a focus on the energy and utilities industry. Sarah has served in various roles, including General Counsel at Liberty Utilities, Senior Director at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., and as an Attorney-at-Law at Rath, Young and Pignatelli, P.C. Sarah has also held positions at PSNH (now Eversource Energy), McLane Middleton, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Sarah'sexpertise includes regulatory proceedings, utility mergers and acquisitions, renewable energy projects, and health care provider licensure.

Sarah Knowlton pursued their undergraduate degree in Urban Studies and Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania from 1984 to 1987, graduating summa cum laude. Sarah then went on to earn a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Emory University School of Law from 1989 to 1992. Sarah obtained various state bar certifications, including the Georgia Bar in 1992, the New Hampshire Bar in 1997, the Massachusetts Bar in 2009, the Maine Bar in 2009, and the Missouri Bar in 2018.
