Marcela Zamora

Marcela Zamora is a dedicated professional in the field of psychology, currently serving as the Encargada de Atención Psicosocial at ALIARSE since February 2021, where responsibilities include directing the psychosocial care model and supervising social science professionals. With extensive experience in private psychotherapy since November 2016, Marcela has also held positions such as Psychologist at Patronato Nacional de la Infancia, and Coordinator for Mental Health at Asociación Centro de Prácticas Restaurativas Surgir, focusing on emotional support strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Academic contributions include teaching at the Universidad de Costa Rica and participation in various emergency and adolescent-oriented programs. Marcela holds a Master’s in Brief Strategic Therapy and multiple degrees in psychology and human resources from the Universidad de Costa Rica.
