Paula Arce Arias

Paula Arce Arias has extensive experience in social promotion and psychosocial support, currently working at ALIARSE as a social promoter and assistant in the Labor Linking area since February 2023. Previously, Paula served in various roles at ALIARSE focusing on socioemotional skills for employment and psychosocial attention. At the Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, Paula supported the Orientation, Evaluation, Selection, and Enrollment Commission in the School of Psychology and contributed to community work aimed at suicide prevention in Talamanca. Additional experience includes assisting in teaching psychology courses, producing educational content for a socio-environmental television program, and facilitating psychoeducational workshops with secondary students as part of a national project in collaboration with UNICEF. Paula's research work includes investigating the historical memory of a cocoa producers' association and facilitating organizational development workshops in various settings. Paula holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and is pursuing another Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Universidad de Costa Rica UCR.
