Diego Iraheta

Diego Iraheta has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Diego is currently employed at Alice as a Health Content Strategy. Prior to this, they worked as a Professor at IESB since 2015. Diego also held multiple roles at HuffPost, including Editorial Director from July 2017 to January 2021, Editor in Chief from January 2015 to June 2017, and Senior News Editor from December 2013 to December 2014. Diego was a Managing Editor at Portal R7 from March 2012 to November 2013 and served as a Social and Digital Media Manager at Brasil 247 from October 2011 to February 2012. Earlier in their career, Diego worked as an Assistant Coordinator of Production at FSB Comunicação, Editor-in-chief and presenter at BAND NEWS FM, Reporter and presenter at Sistema Globo de Rádio, Producer and intern at Rede Globo, and intern at Diarios Associados.

Diego Iraheta obtained their BA degree in Social Communication - Journalism from the Universidade de Brasília between the years 2002 and 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Digital Media at the University of Sussex from 2010 to 2011, where they achieved an MA with Distinction.
