Gabriel Militão began their work experience as a Project Assistant at Conpec in 2012. Gabriel later worked as a Math Teacher at Etapa Ensino e Cultura Ltda, where they trained students for Mathematical Olympiads. In 2014, they became an Undergraduate Researcher at FAPESP, where they designed an algorithm for a variation of the Lights Out game. Gabriel then served as the President of Secomp Unicamp and later took on the role of Infrastructure Manager at the same company.
In 2016, Gabriel interned at the NASA Ames Research Center, where they contributed to the Web World Wind virtual globe project and developed the Quake Hunter App. Gabriel then worked at Facebook as a Solutions Engineer Intern before becoming a full-time Solutions Engineer.
Gabriel joined Cuidas in 2018 as a Software Engineer and progressed to roles such as Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering and Data, and finally the Chief Technology Officer. Gabriel is currently employed at Alice, a Brazil-based healthcare organization, as part of the Engineering Platform.
Gabriel Militão attended Colégio Ari de Sá Cavalcante from 2003 to 2011, where they did not receive a degree or pursue any specific field of study. From 2012 to 2017, they studied at Universidade Estadual de Campinas, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering. Gabriel also had a brief academic stint at Cornell University from 2015 to 2016, during which they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science.
