The current board of directors for ALIEF ISD have a wide range of experience in the education field. One director is coming from a position as the Director of Research and Evaluation at Harris County Department of Education while another is coming from being a Principal at Arrow Academy. Despite their different positions, both board members have a common thread of educational leadership running through their history. One has an Organizational Leadership degree from Abilene Christian Schools while the other has an Educational Management degree with Principal Certification from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
