Johanna Snickars

Johanna Snickars has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Johanna is currently serving as the Chief Communications & Brand Officer at Alight, a leading solar developer and independent power producer. In this role, they are responsible for developing and managing solar projects across Europe.

Prior to their current position, Johanna worked at Ericsson as the Head of Communications, BA Technologies & New Businesses. During their time at Ericsson, they led internal and external communication efforts and played a key role in repositioning the company through its growth strategy. Johanna also led a cultural transformation to foster an innovative and fast-paced culture.

Before joining Ericsson, Johanna served as the Communications Lead / Kommunikationschef at Microsoft Sweden. Johanna oversaw all aspects of communications for the company, including public relations, internal/employee communications, crisis communication, corporate communications, employer brand, executive communications, citizenship/csr, and influencer relations.

Johanna also has experience working in the financial industry, having served as the Nordic Public Relations Manager at Nordnet Bank AB. In this role, they focused on strengthening the company's brand through media and ensuring the quality of PR activities in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

Additionally, Johanna worked as a Public Relations Consultant and Digital Expert at McCann Relations, where they specialized in marketing PR, media relations, digital strategy, and PR counsel. Johanna managed clients such as Max Burgers and Dagens Nyheter.

Earlier in their career, Johanna served as the Public Relations Manager at Europeiska ERV, where they planned and managed PR activities, handled media relations, and set the digital strategy. Johanna also worked as a PR consultant at Ronge Kommunikation, providing various communication services to businesses.

Johanna's career also includes experience in retail sales at Duxiana and as a Sales and Marketing Representative at Hewlett Packard, where they handled account management and trained retail staff.

Johanna Snickars began their education at Kungsholmens Gymnasium where they pursued a high school diploma in the Social Science program from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they attended Stockholm University from 2004 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Media & Communication. In 2010, Johanna enrolled in Svenska Coaching Institutet and successfully completed a certified coaching program, specializing in leadership and coaching. In 2013, they embarked on The Human Element course, specifically completing Step 1 of the program which focused on leadership. Lastly, in 2016 and 2017, Johanna earned a Diploma Certificate from Adventure Academy, emphasizing their interest in adventure studies.
