Michael Sommer

Michael Sommer is a seasoned professional in global implementation services, currently serving as Vice President at Alight Solutions since May 2021. Prior to this role, Michael spent a decade at NGA Human Resources, where positions included Director of Implementations and Global Program Director, overseeing HRIS and payroll projects across 45 countries for a major cosmetics client and managing an HR transformation program across 40 countries in APAC, EU, and LATAM. Earlier career experience includes serving as Global Transformation Manager at NorthgateArinso, where Michael managed the implementation of a Global SAP HCM Solution, and as Project Manager in Austria, directing various SAP HCM implementations. Michael holds a Master in International Management from Università Bocconi and a Master in Business Economics from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
