Lamya Kamel

Lamya Kamel has a wealth of experience in the field of acupuncture. Lamya began their career in 2012 as Co-Owner and Acupuncturist at Inner Compass Acupuncture and Integrative Health. That same year, they also began working as Director of Outreach and Alumni Services and Director of Student and Alumni Services at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. In 2013, they became the Director of Acupuncture at Aligned Modern Health. In 2016, they took on two roles at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine-Chicago, becoming the Department Chair of the Department of Professionalism and a Faculty Member.

Lamya Kamel received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physical Chemistry from Scripps College in 2002. In 2008, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. Lamya then went on to earn their Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2015.
