Arta Bakshandeh D.o.

Arta Bakshandeh D.O., M.A. has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple companies and roles. Arta started their career at Global Physicians Corps in 2005 as a Co-Founder/Co-CEO. In 2011, they joined Caremore Health Plan as a Hospitalist and later became the Director of Clinical Education. Their responsibilities at Caremore included overseeing training programs, researching and implementing best clinical practices, and developing new curriculum.

In 2014, Arta joined Alignment Healthcare as the Senior Medical Director and later became the Chief Medical Informatics Officer in 2018. At Alignment Healthcare, they played a key role in utilizing medical informatics to improve healthcare outcomes and patient care.

Additionally, Arta took on an academic role at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in 2015 as an Assistant Clinical Professor. Arta delivered lectures to Physician Assistant students on various topics related to General Internal Medicine.

Throughout their career, Arta has demonstrated a strong commitment to healthcare education, innovation, and improving patient outcomes.

Arta Bakshandeh D.O., M.A. pursued their education in a sequential manner. Arta began by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Cellular and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Cell/Cellular, Developmental and Molecular Biology, graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 2004.

Continuing their academic endeavors, Arta enrolled in Touro University, where they completed their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree between 2004 and 2008. Subsequently, they joined the University of Southern California from 2008 to 2011 to participate in the Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Apart from their educational qualifications, Arta Bakshandeh D.O., M.A. has also acquired additional certifications. In 2021, they obtained an ABAIM Educational Certification from the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM).
