Kevin Gaw

Kevin Gaw has a diverse work experience history. In 2019, they started as a Student Brand Ambassador for Kaplan Test Prep and a University Ambassador for Guayaki Sustainable Rainforest Products, Inc. In the same year, they also became a Founding Member of UCSD Alpha Kappa Psi, later taking on the role of Pledge Educator.

In 2020, Kevin worked as a Clinical Care Extender and Pathmaker Intern at Palomar Health. Kevin continued their healthcare experience in 2021, where they served as a Clinical Care Extender and Health Scholar at COPE Health Scholars, assisting with patient care tasks and utilizing electronic health record systems.

Kevin also gained research experience at UC San Diego Health. Kevin was a Research Intern for the Golomb Research Group from 2020 to 2021 and a Programming Assistant for The Zone, a health promotion services department, from 2019 to 2020.

In 2021, Kevin joined ScribeAmerica as a Medical Scribe and later became a Scribe Ambassador.

In 2023, Kevin took on new roles as a Finance Coordinator at Alignment Health and a Standardized Patient at UCI School of Medicine.

Kevin Gaw attended Mater Dei High School from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained their High School Diploma. After graduating from high school, Kevin attended UC San Diego from 2017 to 2021 and earned a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in General Biology. During the same period, they also pursued a Minor in Business at the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management. In 2020, Kevin obtained a certification in CITI Biomedical Research - Human Subjects from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY. Additionally, in February 2022, they obtained Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
