Michael Brown-Hayes, PhD has a diverse work experience in data science and analytics. Before Leidos, Michael gained experience at SAIC as a Scientist: Modeling & Simulation from February 2008 to September 2013. Michael'swork involved computational analysis and the development of calculation tools for ultra-high energy shocks and spacecraft surface charging.
Michael's earlier work experience includes their time at Dartmouth College as a Graduate Student/Sr. Lab Manager from August 2002 to November 2007, where they supervised and mentored students while working on UHV systems and high-power laser diode systems. Michael also served as an REU Research Intern at Oregon State University in June 2001.
Overall, Michael has a strong background in data science, analytics, and modeling, with extensive experience in healthcare, technology, and academia.
Michael Brown-Hayes, PhD, obtained a BA in Physics from Earlham College in 2002, followed by a PhD in Physics from Dartmouth College in 2007. As an exchange student, they also studied Physics at the University of Aberdeen from 2000 to 2001.
