Ian Wilson

Ian Wilson is the current Director of Product Utilization at Alinea Engage. Prior to this, they were the Client Learning and Adoption Manager at Naviant from September 2018 to November 2021. In this role, they built upon their previous experience as a Training and Implementation Specialist and expanded the Education Services department, increasing education offerings.

Before joining Naviant, Ian worked at Epic from June 2014 to March 2018 in Technical Services. In this role, they guided and supported multiple healthcare organizations in their use of Epic’s software through technical problem solving, end user support, short-term project planning, and strategizing long term success. Ian also participated in executive level planning meetings to provide insight on current software status and future roadmaps for success. Additionally, Ian was the Meaningful Use Lead and learned and helped decipher changing government regulations with health care organization teams in order to update software build and workflows for successful government reimbursement. Ian was also an Internal Expert on the Diagnoses Workgroup and supported fellow TS and many health care organizations as an expert in diagnoses related challenges. Ian participated in calls with organizations and third party diagnoses groups to trouble shoot and innovate solutions. Furthermore, they helped run and ensure success of annual ICD-10 diagnoses updates on short specified timelines. Lastly, Ian was the Mentor Coordinator and managed and assigned mentors for new hires each month. Ian maintained feedback sessions and coordinated meetings to ensure success for new hires upon arriving at Epic.
