Giovanni Rizzi

Giovanni Rizzi is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in data science and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as a Quant at Alipes ApS since September 2020, Giovanni previously held data scientist roles at Too Good To Go and reACT.Global. With a strong academic background, Giovanni completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University focusing on DNA and RNA detection and established significant collaborations during a postdoctoral tenure at DTU Nanotech, where 12 peer-reviewed papers were published. Giovanni's research has led to advancements in DNA methylation detection, microfluidic systems, and magnetoresistive sensors. Educational credentials include a PhD in Nanotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Politecnico di Milano.
