Roger Tinsley

Roger Tinsley has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Roger is currently working at Aliro as a Technical Lead, where they are responsible for building a talent engagement platform using cloud-native technologies. Prior to Aliro, Roger worked at Belfast Metropolitan College as a Microsoft Certified Trainer from 2010 to 2022. Roger also served as a Technical Lead at Anaqua from 2021 to 2022 and at SmashFly Technologies from 2018 to 2021. Earlier in their career, Roger worked at Civica as a Technical Architect from 2015 to 2018, at Asidua as a Principal Engineer from 2010 to 2015, at Northgate Is as a Principal Software Engineer from 2008 to 2010, at AMT-Sybex as a Senior Software Engineer from 2007 to 2008, at Northbrook Technology as a Software Developer from 2003 to 2007, and at Tibus as a Programmer from 2002 to 2003. Throughout their career, Roger has gained expertise in various technologies including Google Cloud, Kubernetes, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, React, NextJS, Node, NestJS, and TypeScript.

Roger Tinsley holds a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast. In terms of certifications, they became a Microsoft Certified Trainer in 2010 through Belfast Metropolitan College. Roger went on to obtain a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster in September 2014. Additionally, they earned the title of Microsoft Certified Solution Developer in September 2014. Roger Tinsley continued to enhance their expertise by obtaining multiple renewals of the Microsoft Certified Trainer certification from 2021 to 2023, as well as an enrollment in the MCT program in March 2010.
