Valerie Katsikis Richardson

Valerie Katsikis Richardson has extensive work experience in event coordination, management, and administrative roles. Valerie Katsikis is currently the Director of Events at Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Hospitality & Event Manager at Sanford Winery and Vineyards from October 2021 to May 2022. Valerie Katsikis also worked as the Meetings & Special Events Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara from 2016 to 2019. Valerie has a background in event coordination and venue management, having worked as an Event Coordinator/Venue Manager at Saint Barbara Event Center from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, they served as an Executive Administrative Assistant Office Manager at Saint Barbara Greek Orthodox Church from 2008 to 2016. Valerie has experience in various industries, including education as an Instructional Assistant at Roosevelt Elementary School from 2005 to 2008, and public safety as a Public Safety Dispatcher at the Santa Barbara City Police Department from 2001 to 2002. Valerie Katsikis also owned and managed On Guard Pest Control, Inc. from 1996 to 2007. Before that, they worked as a Domestic Sales Assistant at Nexxus Products Company from 1995 to 1996 and as an Executive Management Assistant at Chubb from 1991 to 1993.

Valerie Katsikis Richardson has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Economics from Georgia State University. Valerie Katsikis also studied Political Science and Government at The University of Georgia. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Dare to Lead Training from Dare to Lead™ Trained in January 2023.
