Alan Bianchi

Alan Bianchi has over 30 years of work experience in the field of Information Technology. Alan is currently the Head of Information Technology at Alkahest, Inc. Since joining Gilead Sciences in 2016 as the Executive Director of IT, they played a key role in the organization's IT operations until 2021. Prior to that, Alan held the position of IT Director at VMware from 2010 to 2016, where they managed various business groups and a significant project portfolio. Alan also served as the Sr. Director of IT Global Applications at BlueCoat Systems Inc from 2008 to 2010, overseeing the support and enhancement of enterprise business applications. Before that, Alan was the Sr. IT Director at TIBCO Software from 2005 to 2008, responsible for managing worldwide IT applications and operations. Alan began their career at Cisco Systems in 1990, working as a Sr. IT Manager and leading the transition to an eCRM environment. Throughout their career, Alan has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on driving technological advancements in organizations.

Alan Bianchi attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Information Systems.
