Sophia Bethanis

Sofia Bethanis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental science and engineering. As President and Chief Scientist at Alkemy Environmental since 2006, Sofia leads initiatives focused on sustainable practices. In addition, during a tenure with the Athens Chamber of Commerce & Industry in early 2011, Sofia served as a Top Mentor for Greek Enterprises, promoting environmentally friendly practices among SMEs through the THINK GREEN program. Sofia holds a PostDoctorate in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, as well as an MSc and PhD in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London, and a BEng in Civil Engineering from the University of London.
