Carol Shen

Carol Shen is a Senior Scientist at Alkermes, with a focus on CMC Analytical Development since January 2023. Prior to this role, Carol served as a Research Investigator in Process Product Development for Cell Therapy at Takeda from July 2017 to January 2023, and previously held positions in CMC Analytical Development for Biologics at Takeda. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Research Associate in CMC BioAnalytical Development at ImmunoGen, Inc. from February 2012 to July 2017, and a Scientist II position at GlaxoSmithKline working on anti-infectious diseases research. Carol began a career in research as a Research Associate at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, focusing on cellular and molecular immunology. Academic qualifications include a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego and an MSc in Medical Biotechnology and Biobusiness from the University of Aberdeen.
