Tim Maguire

Tim Maguire, PhD, currently serves as the Executive Director of Business Development at Alkermes since July 2024. Tim co-founded VascuLogic in May 2010 and has been involved with the company since then. Before joining Alkermes, Tim held the position of Director of Business Development and Licensing at Resilience from October 2022 to July 2024 and was the Head of US Corporate Development, External Innovation at Luye Pharma Group from December 2016 to October 2022. Tim also led the Center for Innovative Ventures at Rutgers University from May 2010 to December 2016 and managed operations at Hurel Corp from October 2008 to May 2010. Prior experience includes roles at Merck as a Senior Researcher Chemical Engineer and at Johnson & Johnson in a similar capacity focusing on Advanced Technologies and Regenerative Medicine. Tim Maguire earned a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the same institution in 2001.
