María Romero

María Romero is an experienced Global Recovery Manager at All Hands and Hearts since October 2020, overseeing a team of 30 across multiple disaster recovery programs with a combined budget of $1 million. Previous roles include Program Director for school construction initiatives in Mexico and Nepal, and various leadership positions focusing on disaster response, program development, and volunteer coordination in regions affected by natural disasters. María has also contributed to corporate communications at Empresa de Energía de Bogotá and Save the Children Colombia. María holds a degree in Social Communication and Journalism from Universidad de La Sabana, along with a diploma in Information Technology and Communication Management.
