Gary Link is an experienced professional with a diverse background in government affairs, public policy, and outdoor recreation. Currently serving as the Manager of Government Affairs at Marathon Petroleum Corporation since November 2022, Gary has held several prominent positions including Legislative Affairs Director for the Northern California Water Association and Director of Public Policy for Ducks Unlimited. Previous roles include Policy Consultant for the California State Senate and Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs for the State of California's Department of General Services. Gary's foundational experience includes various consulting and sales roles, along with a long-standing position as a rafting guide at All Outdoors Whitewater Rafting since 1997. Gary holds a Master’s degree (ABD) and a Bachelor’s degree in History from California State University-Sacramento.
