Denis Sutherland

Denis Sutherland has a diverse work experience in the space and satellite industry, starting as a Telecommunications Engineering Manager at Royal Signals in 1991. Denis then worked at companies like Cisco and Arqiva before transitioning to roles at VT iDirect and ST Engineering iDirect, where they held various positions such as Vice President of Business Development and Vice President Strategy and Technology. Most recently, Denis was a Co-Founder at Neul Space and then joined ALL.SPACE as the Vice President of Business Development in 2024. Denis'swork involves leading digital transformation efforts, managing key accounts, and developing business strategies within the industry. Denis has also chaired the Satellite Terminals Working Group to promote collaboration and initiatives in the UK space industry.

Denis Sutherland holds an HND in Telecommunications from the Army Apprentice College Harrogate, obtained between 1991 and 1994. Denis later pursued an MSc in Strategic Business IT at the University of Portsmouth from 2008 to 2011. In 2017-2018, they engaged in further education by completing the Deep Learning Nano Degree Foundation from Udacity in Artificial Intelligence. Denis also obtained various certifications related to Artificial Intelligence, Business Strategy, and other technology fields from institutions such as Coursera, Microsoft, and Scrum.org between 2018 and 2023.
