Marcus Wong

Marcus Wong is an experienced professional in drug formulation, product development, and manufacturing, currently serving as the Director at Allakos Inc since October 2019. Previously, Marcus held the role of Formulation/CMC Drug Product Partner Team Lead at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. from November 2016 to October 2019, where responsibilities included leading clinical development for gene therapies and managing the analytical efforts for vector characterization. Prior to that, Marcus worked as an Associate Scientist II at MedImmune from April 2009 to November 2016, focusing on a variety of therapeutic modalities and managing collaborations with contract research organizations and manufacturing organizations. Marcus began the career as a Process Development Associate contractor at Aerotek for MedImmune Vaccines. Education was completed at the University of California, Davis from 2001 to 2005.
