Avumile McUnu

Avumile Mcunu is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in finance, teaching, and leadership. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant for the Essentials of Personal Finance at the Wharton Global Youth Program and as a Candidate Fellow at the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation, Avumile has developed valuable skills in finance and mentorship. Previous roles include Summer Associate at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and IsiZulu Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. Avumile co-founded Siyazana DEI, focusing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion workshops in South Africa, and gained initial experience in audit, tax, and bookkeeping during vacation work at BDO South Africa. Avumile is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania, with a strong academic background including studies at Eton College and Hilton College.
