Petra Huijgen

Petra Huijgen has extensive experience in communication and journalism, currently serving in a communication role at Allard Pierson since January 2017, focusing on online presence, social media policy development, and channel maintenance. Prior to this, Petra worked as a freelance journalist for Het Parool from March 2014 to November 2016 and completed an editorial internship as part of a Master's degree in Journalism. Additional experience includes a web editor position at ii.nl and a music journalist role at 3voor12/Groningen. Petra's educational background includes a Master's in Journalism from the University of Groningen, a Bachelor's in Arts & Humanities from University College Roosevelt, and a VWO diploma from Gymnasium Apeldoorn.
