Somyeong Kim

Somyeong Kim is a Localization Specialist at Lionbridge Technologies since October 2020, with extensive experience translating and editing over half a million words for various game-related projects, including eSports material and marketing copy. Simultaneously, Somyeong serves as a Quality Guardian at Allcorrect Group, proofreading and evaluating translations, and has contributed as a Korean Translator on nearly one hundred titles. In addition, Somyeong works as an Editor and LQA Tester at Impetus, ensuring the quality and accuracy of localized content, and serves as a Korean Linguist for Games at Terra Localizations, focusing on engaging marketing translations. Moreover, Somyeong has independently translated the story-driven puzzle game Garden Affairs, and has freelance experience with the hidden object game Memory Island. Somyeong holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Seoul National University.
