Allegient Defense
Raul O. is a Senior Program Engineer at Allegient Defense, where technical expertise and support are provided to the Office of Naval Research for propulsion and thermal management programs. Prior to this role, Raul O. served as the CFM56-7B Lead Project Engineer at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), managing teams and overseeing propulsion projects, while also contributing to performance analytics and risk assessments for various aircraft engines. Raul O. holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, where significant research contributions included the development of patented acoustic measurement sensors and collaboration on propulsion research projects with major aerospace companies. Extensive experience also encompasses internships at Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, and Lockheed Martin, further solidifying skills in performance analysis and engineering design.
